She receives many referrals from past clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, even from opposing parties.

When you hire Suzanne, not only do you hire an attorney, but you gain a friend whose mother-like qualities prevail. She makes her clients feel comfortable immediately. Suzanne is practical and realistic and she explains the law to her clients in a way that makes them understand and feel empowered. She is an experienced lawyer in settlement negotiations and resolving your case amicably and out of court. Suzanne De Meyer is a skilled lawyer who will provide aggressive trial litigation, if necessary. She is a fighter and will protect your rights at all costs.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from St. John’s University and studying abroad a year in Italy to further enhance her studies and expand her horizons, Suzanne returned home to complete her academic achievements at Brooklyn Law School and obtained a Juris Doctor degree in the year 2000.

Suzanne stayed grounded, practicing law at the same law firm, that she interned with during law school. Her eighteen years at Cantor Coscia & Schustal, LLP, provided her with the skills, knowledge, and experience in litigating Matrimonial and Family law matters.

After becoming a mother, Suzanne decided the time had come to open up her own practice. She is admitted to both the New York and New Jersey State Bars.
